The first car repair manual from Haynes was published in 1966 and was on the Austin Healey Sprite. Based on a complete strip down and rebuild of the car, it set the standard for all of the manuals that were to follow. The process hasn't changed and Haynes is now a globally recognised publisher of practical information.
